FHW's History and Archaeology Department participates in the programme for the practical training of students in the departments of History and Archaeology of the Greek universities. Third-year and senior students are work for a period at the Foundation’s areas, they watch its activities, they train in the use of electronic media in historical and archaeological research and contribute to the Foundation’s productions. 



Furthermore, the History and Archaeology Department participates in training programmes in cooperation with the Vocational Training Centres.

The members of the department organize tours for those that participate in the training seminars to archaeological sites and museum in Greece.
