In February 2003 yet another activity was added to the Foundation’s existent ones: the adult training seminars. Historians and archaeologists with post graduate degrees and educational experience, working for the Foundation, organized two separate cycles of lessons about Hellenic history and art under the title:
Cycles of seminars for Hellenic art and history
A. “Routes to Hellenic art and culture: From the Cycladic idols to modern folklore tradition"
B. “Byzantine – Ottoman – Modern Green world: area, people history"
The public’s great interest and response forced us not only to continue the seminars in the following academic semester, but also to expand them. So, we repeated the first two cycles and we added several units of lessons with specialized subject matter and smaller duration. The lessons, which began on September 29th 2004, took place in the areas of cultural centre Hellenic Cosmos and at FHW’s offices at Thision.
