The first important project by the Foundation on the Internet was the presentation of Hellenic history from the Stone Age to the present day, in two languages, Greek and English. For this programme worked more than sixty specialists, historians, archaeologists, editors, translations, programmers and graphic designers. "Hellenic History on the Internet" (http://www.hellenichistory.gr/) exceeds the 30,000 web pages and provides, apart from the highest level of academic research, a vast number of images of authentic objects, maps, photographs, 3D digital reconstructions and VRML models. The presentation of the programme took place in November 2000 a part of the Eurobank Forum of EFG Eurobank Ergasias, which sponsors the programme. This specific programme has been certified by the Pedagogic Institute.
