In the summer of 2007, in collaboration with the Museum Educators Department and the personal initiative of Mr. Dimitris Efraimoglou, an original and exciting questions game was created and functioned for the first time at the "Tholos". The children that participated in the educational programme “Summer in the city” lived a unique experience at the "Tholos" through this dynamic game of sounds and images and applied the knowledge they obtained. Due to the occasion of the beginning of the new school year, a new game is under development at the "Tholos" for all school students and IMEakia.

Recently the Internet and Multimedia Department upgraded its technological infrastructure with six new computers and high definition screens, in order to create exceptional productions for the “Tholos”.

More specifically, the following are the latest additions:
• Four computers Hewlett-Packard with four-core processors Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700 and video cards NVIDIA Quadro FX
• two Apple MAC Pro computers with 64-bit Intel Xeon processors
• a screen HP 30’ and 2 screens HP 20’.

The department stays in touch with all the latest developments in the field of technology and makes all the necessary upgrades to computers and software, in order to achieve the best possible quality in the less possible time.
