The historical narrative
The historical narrative was a lighter and more
popular form of historical writing than the History itself.
It contained a variety of information on events in world history,
starting from Adam to the author's day, which was of the kind we
would qualify today as "light journalism". Although this narrative
was aimed primarily at the reader's entertainment, it provides
us with important information on the period. During Late
